The Presentation of the measuring sistem acquired:
The following chart shows the configuration system for noise measuring.
This configuration was designed to be applied for airports areas, but
it can be implemented with a series of software/hardware adaptations to
urban areas, road, rail or industrial.
The 3 remote control units, with 4 channels each for measuring noise
can be located at distances of up to 5 km from the central control unit
because of professional wireless equipment. Each channel for the
acquisition may signal a support cable up to 60m, which offers a big
advantage in placement of microphones. This system for noise
measurement, with all controlled units can achieve an acquisition of up
to 16 channels situated at large distances and with a high-quality data
taken (the system suports high multichannel upgrade if is needed).
Also, the system is provided with a unit for the determination of
meteorological conditions and their correlation with the measured
signals, a radar system of this measurement system it provides
important information about the aircraft in the area of the airport. A
measurement made with this system may be short-term, long term or long
term with noise-event, depending on the objectives of measurements.
The results of this complex system for noise measurement can be used to validate or update noise maps realized with professional software for noise prediction like IMMI ver. 6.3.1.
Depending on the calculation method, IMMI calculates Leq, Lday, Levening, Lnight, Lden, LAmax, L10 and other sound or statistical indicators. Currently IMMI can be equipped with
- noise calculation methods for road traffic noise, railway traffic noise, air transport noise and industrial/recreational noise
- more than 20 national and international noise calculation methods
Noise Mapping gained additional importance with the arrival of Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise. IMMI is equipped with a full set of functions to produce Strategic Noise Maps of major roads, major railways, major airports and major agglomerations.
Extension Accreditation
In the last phase of the project took place actions to meet RENAR assessment audits, as requested accreditation, extending the activities of compiling the necessary documents and with the reference standard SR EN ISO 17025:2005 and dissemination of results during the project.
Method for the proposed extension of the project is called:
- The sound monitoring in order to achieve noise maps of airports
